Instead of the soul thing when a user dies, (even though it is really cool), maybe look at the possibility of a gravestone mod of sorts? Would be a nice option to have a chance for users to receive their items after death without using keep inventory. Implement Proximity Voice Chat Across All Game Worlds

The ability to carry more STUFF, unsure how that's possible, but figured I'd suggest it. Perhaps a backpack mod from boomcicle in Discord.

When logging into the server, rank prefixes seem to only show the special character they're assigned to instead of the actual prefix. After further investigation, this may be connected to the server.properties file and resetting itself, or that the prefixes are outdated. 
This will require further investigation.
